Just over 1 year ago, I held my first awards ceremony. So, time to do so again.

Sit tight, ladies and gentle men. It is time for:

The Spikes 2002!

Best Scottish diarist:
The competiton for this was tight. But eventually, I gave the award to a young Scottish lassie who’s diary I have read for a while. The award goes to:
Oribeth

Best English diarist:
Again, the competiton was fierce. But eventually, I went for the diarist who has been through a lot, but come out the other end smiling (I think). The award goes to:
Apprentice Survivor

Best American diarist:
For this award, I’ve gone for the person who has given us the Shaggable and who’s problems with children I can sympathise with. This award goes to:
Corbeau

Best Australian diarist:
As I only read one diary by an Aussie diarist, this one is a no brainer.
Karma Girl

Best diary name:
This diarists name always makes me chuckle. I’m not sure why. I think it’s just the thought of ghostly bovines. This award goes to:
Polter-Cow

Best film reviews:
I’ve only just started to read thgis guys film reviews. Always well written and making clear how he feels about the film reviewed. Despite forgetting what his film review diary is called. And a disagreement about Star Wars. This award goes to:
Peter_24601

Most annoying diarist:
Mostly one line entries, some entries copied from other sources (without recognising the source) this diary is worth a read. If only to laugh and wonder if the author is on drugs. And if so, which ones.
Ashleigh Banfield

Most amusing diarist:This diarist has never failed to entertain since I started reading his diary. A fellow Dons fan/sufferer (delete as apropriate) his amusing updates on the team keep me in the know while exiled from God’s own land. The award goes to:
Ken Fitlike

Best sold out diarist:
Of all the peoiple to go to OD+, she was the most unlikely. But she still makes me chuckle at least when she can be bothered to update. This award goes to:
norahrose

And that’s it. Congrats to all winners. Commiserations to the rest. See you next year.

Will
