Hey, ho. Tis me again.
So. I did go and see Super Size Me. (Fantastic. Easily the best documentary I’ve seen this year 9including F9/11)) and I did buy The Shawshank Redemption DVD. Tis mine. Tis shiny. Presious DVDs!
Still not got started at college. Supposed to start this very week. But still do not have timetable. Spot the problem.
Interview at job(less) center on Tuesday saw me suited and booted. and tired due to staying over at a friends house and staying up till 6am talking. Bad preperation or showing interview with that mob the distain it deserves? Send your answers on a postcard to Blue Peter, as I don’t like opening postcards.
So, anyhoo, they are sending me to this place which is supposed to help me overcome any barriers between me and finding work. Hmmm. I want to work as a writer. I don’t own a computer. Think they’ll help me oversome that barrier?
So, the interview is on Wednesday at 2pm. The following conversation did actually take place:
Interviewer: Do you have any questions for me?
Me: Yes. Do I sign on as usual on Wednesday?
Interviewer: Yes you sign on as usual at, ah, 1:40 till 2.
(BTW, as far as I can tell, the signing time is like that as you turn up at 1:40 but don’t get to sign till 2.)
And, yeah, that was pretty much my week.
Oh, apart from the fact that I got me a girlfriend.
