So, yesterday I went to Forbidden Planet to buy issue one of the Serenity comic, the one that bridges the gap between Objects in Space and the film (the Mal cover, if you must know).
So I takes it to the counter and the bloke rings it up. He then informs me that there is a Serenity magazine coming out, to tie in with the film, and that he’s just ordered it. It should be out about this time next month. He’s only ordered 5 copies. And one is being put aside for me!
Current TV obsessions: House and Wonderfalls. Course I can’t get too attached to Wonderfalls, as it didn’t last long. Damn you Fox! Damn you to Hades! First Firefly now Wonderfalls. What, are you insane?
Got new puter. Damn things been playing up, though. Sound card aint working, internal modem, same (I think it’s got something to do with the PCMICA slots in the puter), the monitors started playing up and it keeps freezing on me. Grrr.
Queued outside Waterstones last night to get the new Harry Potter book. Got chatting to a French guy and a 40 odd year old who admitted he started buying the books for his kids, but they never read them. So, he gets them for himself now. Got home about 1:30. Started reading. Finished about 8am.
My god, it’s good. However, had you told me before that Hermione would embark on a torrid affair with Dobby, or that Hagrids beard would turn out to be made of marshmallow, I would not have believed you.*
Course, bearing in mind I’ve had about 4 hrs sleep, work tonight’s gonna be interesting.
Works really pissing me off. I’ll explain another time (possibly).
