Cos I can’t be arsed writing an update entry.

1. What did you do in 2005 that you’d never done before?
Attend a scriptwriting class.

2. Did you keep your new years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
No and, lets see, nope.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My cousin did.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Thankfully. no.

5. What countries did you visit?
None, sadly.

6. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
A lack of burglaries.

7. What date from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
september 16th. The day I enrolled at college.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Passing the scriptwriting class. And enrolling at college.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Kat.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Thankfully, no.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
Oooh. Probably laptop. Even if it did get nicked. Then replaced by a better one :¬)

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Mine

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Kat’s. cos of how she handled things.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Booze. DVD’s. Laptop. And various other toys.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
College. Shooting on 16mm film (not long now folks!)

16. What song will always remind you of 2005?
You’re Beautiful – James Blunt.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? Happier. More serene actually.
ii. thinner or fatter? Same
iii. richer or poorer? Thanks to student loan and tuition fees, both.

18. What do you wish you’d done more of?
Filming stuff.

19. What do you wish you’d done less of?
Moping.

20. How will you be spending the Winter?
With the family.

22. Did you fall in love in 2005?
Nope. Just the opposite in fact.

23. How many one-night stands?
None.

24. What was your favorite TV program?
Firefly (this counts. I only saw it for the first time this year.) Veronica Mars. Dr Who. Nathan Barley.

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?
No. But I feel indifferent about someone, which is a feeling I hate.

26. What was the best book you read?
The Rule of Four by Dustin Thomason and Ian Caldwell. Adept by Robert Finn. Codex by Lev Grossman. The new Harry Potter (natch). And if you like crime books, you could do a lot worse than the books of Mark Billingham.

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Nizlopi. The Arctic Monkeys. James Blunt.

28. What did you want and get?
A place on my course.

29. What was your favorite film of this year?
Serenity. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Hitchhikers Guide. The Producers. Team America: World Police.

30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
Went to 2 kareoke nights. I was 27.

31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Not having the drama I did at the begining of October. Oh, and not being burgled twice would have been nice as well.

32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005?
Don’t really have one.

33. What kept you sane?
College. Friends.

34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Jewel Staite. Zooey Deschanel. Kristen Bell. Amanda Seyfried.

35. What political issue stirred you the most?
The general election. Rather, how boring the whole thing was.

36. Who did you miss?
Lewis.

37. Who was the best new person you met?
Martin, Jemma, Di, Mike, Andy. Fuck it. Most of the people in my class at college.

38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2005:
Always make sure that when the council are repairing the roof in your flat they replace the loft hatch.
