Enough is enough in From the mouth of madness

Enough is enough already. All in the hell you hear lately is Ferguson this Ferguson that. White cop kills unarmed black man here, white cop kills unarmed black there. Why in the hell is it that anytime a black person is killed by someone of another race/color it becomes a racism matter and the person that was killed is always unarmed and innocent???
Does anyone remember the whole Zimmerman/ Trayvon shooting in the recent past? ” White man kills unarmed teen in cold blood”, does that ring a bell??? Just because the shooter had a “white” sounding name he was automatically white even tho in all reality he is HISPANIC. Hispanic is far from being white the last time I looked.
I admit that there seems to be a lot of police caused deaths either shooting and in the case of New York, a choke hold was the cause of death. The way I see it is if a cop or anybody for that matter, is in the wrong for the death of another, regardless of race, then that cop/person should be punished for their crime and pay for their wrong doing.
Go back several years to Rodney King. We all saw the video of police beating him and it was horrific and the police went wayyyyy to far and overstepped their authority on several layers. What happened next was just as terrible and uncalled for. Remember the white truck driver snatched from the cab of his truck and severely beaten by blacks all because he was white??? That driver had nothing to do with the King beat down YETTTTT he was being held accountable for it and it wasn’t just him. Riots ensued and residents of the area were at risk of harm, loss of property, and possibly even their own life. They were blacks for the most part that were being victimized by their own race but apparently that was alright as long as it was a black on black thing.
Now go forward in time to Trayvon Martin. After being shot and killed by the LATINO WHITE George Zimmerman, their was a game started after the shooting and in the name of Trayvon whereas a “GROUP” of blacks would single out a white person without regards to age or sex and only if the group thought the person was unarmed, the gang would attack and beat the person within an inch of their life.
Now we have the Ferguson shooting/killing of yet another unarmed and “innocent” black by a WHITE cop. Following the Grand Jury failing to indict and clearing the cop of all charges, riots and attacks begin. Peoples businesses are being burned and looted and whatever else, people who are innocent and had nothing to do with the killing but yet they are having to pay for the actions of another.
Where is the justice for those that had nothing to do with any of the instances I brought up but are having to pay the price because of the actions of others of another racial background???
I am white. I do not believe my race is better than another or vice versa. I do however believe that right is right and wrong is wrong no matter what the color of your skin is, if you’re a cop or a civilian and so on and so forth. I don’t give a damn who you are but if you do wrong then you should pay the price.
Why is it that whenever a white kills or harms a black that it is always racial or that whites are always being held responsible for slavery when in the case of slavery it was the blacks OWN people that sold them to the white English???
Look back to the early 80’s when black kids in Atlanta were being shot and killed. Blacks from all over were saying it was a white man doing all the killing of those innocent kids. Come to find out it was a black man responsible for the shootings and NOT a white man and suddenly there wasn’t a damn soul wanting to say anything. All those hate mongers shut the hell up when they found out and realized it was 1 of their own. It’s amaizing how things seem to work out like that when the shoe ends up on the other foot now isn’t it???
Come on people and grow the fuck up and quit with the stereotypical bullshit and playing the race card as well as the whole innocent factor. With the influx of police involved deaths then they do need to be seriously looked into regardless of the officers skin color. If a cop is guilty then they should be held fully accountable for their actions and the penalty be more severe that that of us civilians because, simply put, we are supposed to feel protected by them and not endangered.
The bottom line is this....in times of adversity and turmoil, we all need to stick together for the greater good and correct/fix that which is wrong regardless of each others skin color. After all, to a blind man we all look the same.
