Had a skin graft behind my knee in October.. It did not take and I still waiting for the scab to come off. It was a stage one Melanoma and it hadn’t spread, so no cancer. That is a huge plus but I have to have this thing dressed every second day. My daughter has been amazing. I text her when I have showered and she pops over without any fuss and changes the dressing.
Back to the docs on Tuesday so hopefully she can give me some indication what and when this thing will heal. It is like the black hole of Calcutta to look at. However I must admit there is healing around the edge, so something is going on. Anyhow I am not in any pain at all. Just waiting for my body to do it’s healing thing.
