I have to get better at writing in here. I have to get better at reading as well.
On Monday, I turned 48. I had work, I came home, I phoned home, I cooked, I went to bed.
Speaking of work, it's going fine. I had my 6 week review, which was very positive. I then had a compliance meeting due to me taking two sick days. I could have been sacked, but I got a written warning.
In case you're worried, the first sick day was for nausea. The second was because I had chest pains and ended up going to A&E. Nothing to worry about. There's a lining under my chest which has gotten swollen, so I have to take ibuprofen for it.
The job itself isn't too bad, really. Some of the callers are annoying, but it helps that I can end the calls for more reasons than swearing/insults.
But, I've updated my CV and started applying for other jobs. It's the travel. It's the fact that I have to spend £350 a month for my train pass. I have no time when I get home in the evenings and I'm not eating particularly well either, partly because I'm tired, partly because I get home late. Like, this week I won't be getting home until about 9pm. Assuming there's no issues with the train home, and there's almost always an issue with the train home. I've taken a half days holiday on Wednesday so I can get my food delivered at a relatively decent time.
I'm staying in the job for now, though.
What else?
I've become addicted to hot chocolate, so I'm planning on getting myself a hot chocolate maker when I get paid.
I've started making an Assisi cross stitch using an Italian two sided stitch, so when it's done it should have the design on both sides. It's time consuming, though
