supper, ppd, mj & dentist in everything

supper was good. having the family together like that feels like christmas to me. christmas is not about presents, it’s about family. when everyone is together, i feel this peacefulness & i just want to sit in that moment forever. <3.
we picked the kids up from jo’s after that. going there to drop them off and pick them up jo didn’t seem like herself & i knew something was wrong. when i was all alone with her, the kids, hubby & alex were out in the car, i asked her about it. she broke down & told me for a month & a half she’s been dealing with what she thinks is postpartum depression. she’s kept it all inside & the only one who knew was aaron. that was hard. seeing my friend of 13 years break down. i wanted to do anything to take away her pain but i couldn’t do anything. the pain that i felt for her was horrid & it would be so much worse for her. i can’t even imagine what she’s going through. she also cancelled her trip with us going to mj. :( she felt like she’d bring us down even though i insisted she wouldn’t. so a trip that we’d been counting down together for months was now going to be just my family & not hers too. very disappointing but understand where she’s coming from. she will never be a burden to me. although it’s not through blood, we’re “sisters” and i’ll always be here for her. i love her.
the next day we had to get up ridiculously early to get alex to the bus. i think we left here at 530? very tiring day. we dropped him off at 8 then went to denny’s for breakfast. went to walmart to shop then went to mj for the hotel/spa. of course things couldn’t go perfect & we started having car issues on the way. our car would start beeping, display would come on saying traction stability low and speed would drop. we would have to pull over, wait a few minutes then try again. repeatedly.
when we finally got to mj, we went straight to the hotel room and hung out, rested for a bit. then went swimming. i was able to upgrade our room to a anniversary suite & since we were using gift cards for our room, i only had to pay 80 for a $400 room. it had a jacuzzi & garden view. kinda funny that our kids came though lol. that was pretty much the day, r & r, rest, swim, florin brought food in. it was kind of funny going to bed. adam needed to sleep but was fighting it & jas needed to sleep too so i told everyone to get into bed & we all had to stay quiet until adam fell asleep, no talking, nothing. well before u knew it, we were all sleeping and it was around 8 lol. the kids fell asleep first then i was scared to talk to florin & wake them up so i went to sleep then florin. next morning was more of the same, took the kids to the restaurant, went swimming, went to bonanza for lunch. then had to drive to jazzy’s dentist appt.
jas had 3 cavities & one of them is abscessed. we go back tomorrow to get it pulled then the other 2 will be dealt with after our trip.
funny story, took jas to school this morning & they have this thing where u put money in a jar for chores u did at home then the money will be used to buy something for another kid that doesn’t have much. well before i leave jas goes up to tell the kids what chores she’s done & she says make my bed & medicine. she decided to talk about taking her medicine instead of listing her chores lol.
