So Mom is still in psych unit. I am getting paperwork notorized and delivering paperwork to her and my brother. I am trying to get guardianship and custodianship because her schizoaffective disorder and impulsive shopping is out of control. In the past 3 months she overdrafted her accounts by thousands.
They say she is unable to live alone because she isn't capable of doing basic skills and must be monitored 24/7. I am arranging to be her payee because she doesn't understand you cannot keep overdrafting your accounts. I am trying to take over her estate to protect it from her mental illness.
She called the power company while in psych unit and got power turned on at her condemned trailer. No water no sewer floors falling in she informed me she is living with another psych patient she met. I keep trying to inform her she has been incapacitated since 2022. She cannot live alone. I sent her to unit after she hit me. The Drs said psychologically she is degrading to the point if I don't care for her she will be placed in psych unit or group home. Until I get custodianship and guardianship the power company won't listen.
When the Dr suggested she cannot drive safely because she has no glasses, cannot hear and has schizophrenia she informed me she does what she wants out her van in the shop. I told the man she has schizoeffective and is incapable to make decisions he told her money or he doesn't fix. Mom put it in impound thinking she is spiting me. Her vehicle is now in impound and she owes over $837 to impound. We offered to get it towed and take it home after my husband got paid in exchange getting it off the mechanics lot. She continues to demand him to fix it. Today I have to go to mechanic and see if I can bring the vehicle home and park it.
At the court case I am going talk to the courts to take her license. I am not doing this out of spite I am trying to protect others from her wrecking and killing them. I drive her most of the time. She actively stole my mother in law's car twice. Once with me in the backseat with my son I was trying to fasten him in the car when she drove off. She couldn't control the car. I convinced her to pull over and let me drive.Second time she took the keys tried to run out the door. I ran up took the keys from her. She was furious. She demanded an energy drink when I suggested coffee because her accounts was in the negatives once again she hit me..again. She told me I can't press charges if it doesn't hurt.
She has been getting life insurance in me my husband and sons name. She lied to the insurance company she was me trying to get life insurance after she threatened to murder us. She threatened to castrate my husband for me to discover multiple knives in her room.now she wonders why the judge requested her guns be locked up.
She is in the psych unit because when I requested her to get psychological help she thought hitting me and throwing me against wall was a good idea. I took her phone and took her to psych unit. She threatened to kill me. She attacked and twisted a security guards testicles and wouldn't let go until sedated just because he asked her to sit down and quit trying to fight people.
My brother Tom refuses to deal with my mother. He packed his things and left years ago during the stage mom was hearing voices and hallucinating. She keeps demanding his phone number tells everyone she going to live with my brother and go in business with him. Toms says fuck no it isn't happening. She is furious he refuses to help me and only comes to help me repair things as a favor to me.
Mom gave her money to a repair company..again last month she gave away over $1,700 to a company. Demanded bank to get her money back this month she did the same thing in the psych unit.. how does she know those numbers? She doesn't have a cellphone someone must have her the number. I am getting guardianship and custodianship to save her from herself.. it's either this or a nursing home. This next part of my life is her final hail Mary like they say in football. Let see if she can save her own ass or fumble the football.
Taking care of a 5 month old while trying to protect a schizoeffective woman from herself is hard. She been incapacitated since 2022. I am trying to stop her from losing everything and spending the rest of her life in a nursing home.
