Thanks to my friend Almostallgrownup, I've returned to start writing my diary again. Originally on Open Diary and then migrated here, but didn't keep up with it. So Crossman, what the heck have you been up to?

I'll hit the highlights to get you caught up to speed on the major stuff.

HEALTH: Well, I'm now 16 years post major cancer surgery. No return of the cancer, but I've had some health challenges. My recent challenges deserve their own entry and that will come in time.

MARRIAGE: Some of you may remember that my marriage was not good, alright, horrible mostly since my cancer surgery. In 2022 I had a discussion with her and said that her not touching me, not talking to me and putting a pillow wall between us in bed has led to me falling out of love with her. She filed for divorce and as of May 2023 I am single.

WEALTH: She tried to run me through the ringer with the divorce, lied, tried to extract money that she was not entitled to and more. Now I've bought a co-op two-bedroom place, bought all new furniture and am living happily. In May 2026, after my son graduates college, the child support ends and I won't have any more college payments.

CHILDREN: Since the divorce my daughter does not talk to me. She won't tell me why and when I've asked to meet with her to discuss it (via e-mail) she ignores me. At best I'll get a sentence of two here and there. My son is busy with college, so we don't talk as often as I'd like, but I have a horrible feeling that after he graduates college, I won't be hearing from him much, if at all. I wonder how much she's poisoned them against me?

GIRLFRIEND: I did date a bit after the divorce and mostly it was not good. Dating after 50 sucks in a major way. I was fortunate though and met S. She's divorced, two kids, one graduating high school this year. We've been good for each other and have been dating for over a year.

WRITING: I'm on the 3rd revision of my book, Blind Faith, about a priest sent to investigate a woman claiming to be the daughter of God. One of these days I'll actually finish it and send it off to agents. I'm in a writing group and they have been very supportive of the book.

Feel free to leave comments, ask questions, etc.
