Today was much better. I woke up at 5:30.
Originally, I woke up at 2:30 and I thought ‘oh oh, it’s going to be a long day.’
I put on a podcast and zzzzzzz.
Anytime after 4am is a fine time to wake up.
And I suppose flying out of BC instead of Ontario helped.
So. I get up and make coffee and then go to 興隆居 for breakfast. I get it to go.
On the way, I do a Bob’s Walkie Talkie video and then back at the apartment I finish up the Bob’s Utopia video which will publish on Friday morning. Doing videos is my favourite thing to do.
The missus reminds me that my Taiwan health card is waiting at the front desk. I go down and retrieve it. So now I am essentially as Taiwanese as I want to get. I’m not getting a driver’s license. I’ll just borrow ebikes, which are still a grey area in the law.
I’ve fallen off with my penpal writing on Slowly. The only real connection I made so far is with an 18 year old Vietnamese girl, but it is mostly because we’ve been sharing nature photos from our perspective countries. Other conversations have only been superficial and frankly a little boring. So maybe I’ll drop that pastime too.
I’m meeting with my buddy Joe this afternoon. We’re going to go down to 西子灣 and chase boats with his drone.
