This one is really off the cuff. I’m back in Taiwan. I got here this morning at about 4:30, almost exactly 12 hours ago. And naturally, I am discombobulated and out of sorts in all kinds of ways. But I like having a record of my trials and tribulations and flying 12 hours into the future is something that never gets better and at the same time never gets old. So, there’s that.
The sun will be going down in less than an hour which means I will be too. We are in the golden hour now and if I had more energy, I would be out taking a few shots (another way to record the old trails & tribs.)
It does you no real good to arrive a half hour early into Taipei. The MRT to the HSR does not begin until 6am. Of course, I’d argue that every hour on a plane is counted in dog hours so, saving that 1/2 hour due to the headwinds over Japan, saved us 3 and a half.
I hope today is today. I trust it is at least somewhere
