The most disappointed I’ve ever been… that’s a tough one. I’ve had my share of disappointments in life. Some much worse than others. But the worst disappointment of all is when you are disappointed in yourself.
I expect others to disappoint me. That’s just the way life is and happens. People will not do the same for you that you would do them. So it’s best to just not have any expectations then that saves that kind of disappointment.
But I’ve been disappointed in myself so many times. So many things I could have handled better. So many things I should have done differently. So many things I shouldn’t have done at all. But… those kind of disappointments kill us all, slowly and with no warning. So… live and learn, right? Keep smiling and going forward. Hope that the next time I’ll make better choices. So far… I keep trying to learn things the hard way. There’s something to be said for consistency, right?
