Coincidence... in The dotted line

Hereditary pancreatic cancer

It makes me wonder.. before my Mum, before her Mum

Before modern diagnostics. Were there others?

Maybe. Maybe not.

And is it only the female line?

Or just coincidence.

I'm applying to a research programme, either way.

They've given a provisional yes.

They'll take blood, urine, family history and lifestyle details and decide how high the risk is.

If it's low, I get reassurance.

If it's higher I get to join their screening programme, enabling early detection.
