My mother who is used to fussing and acting out to get her way has been arguing with me a lot since my son is in the hospital. We are over an hour away and cannot be at service for all her bidding. Instead of paying the $125 to get my car out of the shop so I can drive her my mom who hasn't been able to drive since 2018 put her van in the shop to be repaired. We told her it wasn't a good idea considering she still hasn't paid her bills to get to carried with spending as always she doesn't listen. She thinks she is going to drive herself. She isn't thinking we only have 2 parking spots where we live but she decided to get a 3rd vehicle.
She decided to pay $500 a month to stranger who talked to her on the phone promising to do repairs to our house. I told her it sounds like a scam. She won't listen. This month we are giving her the opportunity to pay her own bills and do the right things if she screws up this month I am becoming her financial power of attorney. She acted on her worse behavior sweating to God she can pay her own bills. We will see.
When I didn't have the money to take my son to surgery I asked my mom if I can borrow gas money. She screamed it's her money she does what she wants. I had to call my mother in law Dee to borrow money. I have every intention of paying Dee back. Talan just got paid today. My son's surgery was yesterday.
While I was caring for my son yesterday and hour away from home at the hospital mom kept screaming at me she wanted my brother Toms phone number. He needs to drive her around. Tom said no he needs his peace. I understand and respect the boundary my mother does not. When my brother tells me no I say ok no problem. When he says no the mom she harasses him ringing nonstop and won't leave him alone. She has lost grasp of reality and sees us as employees and not her family..last time she threatened to fire me I laughed in her face and told her please do! Tom moved away over 10 years ago because he was tired of moms abuse.
Mom is furious that the car sitting in the driveway at my house is broke down. We were going to fix it after payday. She called me yesterday saying she is going get an Uber to drive her. I told her go for it mom remember those are expensive and you have limited funds.
Mom just called me to inform me that she got me dental insurance. This is the only time since 2018 this hasn't thought only about herself. I appreciate her thought but I wish she paid her bills first. Every month I have to take her card from her and pay her bills if not she lets the power water sewer and garbage be shut off to save her money. I had to take some of the bills out of her name put them in mine to be sure they are paid. She threw a fit to prove herself fit to do it herself I told her here is your rope hang yourself let's see if you can do it now.
Mom just called me to tell me for the 7th time she needs the key to the van she put in the shop for the 7th time I told her I don't have it. I am in Charleston. I have food poisoning and I am trying to get unsick enough to quit having diarrhea so I can go back to the hospital to care for my son. My husband Talan is there with Leo. I was told Leo can come home and he is coming back to clean
I don't know how much more I can handle me mother.. God help me I am so sick and tired
