I have to go in to where I'll hopefully be working on Wednesday so they can get copies of the documents I'm using for ID. Not going to lie, if I have to spend about three hours total on the train just to be there for five minutes, I'm going to be slightly pissed.
Incidentally, this is why I can't get worked up about the government introducing digital ID. If I could afford a passport, I wouldn't be scrambling about looking for documents or making that journey. You're saying there might in the future I could click a button or enter a code and it's free? Sign me the fuck up.
Back to what I was saying. After Wednesday, it's just waiting for the checks to go through and hopefully I'll have the job.
