Nuttin new in Ok!!!

Tomorrow lunch at wife’s sister’s house. Pig out on fried turkey and ham with all the trimmings. I am making a cornbread dressing with chicken. then home to watch some football. I could go to the camp Friday but I just aint in the mood to skin Mr. Deer. We have plenty venison left over from the one we killed earlier this year. Boys can’t go so I might just work around the place cleaning up junk and the like. Hang my new rabbit pens I made. Maybe haul some compost to the garden. Clean up in the chicken pen and under the rabbit pens. Nothing exciting you know. Maybe go wet a line in the lake for some trout. Depends on the wind and how cold it is. Those are my options anyway. So....
At work at the moment and hoping they let us go early today. get a head start on the holidays. Sometimes they do that. I work for a great bunch of people. Really people orientated. They have family’s too. I am really blessed with my job and work. I don’t talk about it to much but I am in Human Resources and Safety field. so…
All the animals are doing fine. Butchered a few rabbits for the freezer. Sold some Roosters. 10 to be exact. Goats are all bred to the Billy. Baby Llama is eating feed now and still nursing. Have 12 geese and about 30 ducks. Eight chickens for eggs and 10 Cornish for meat chickens. Pigeons have baby’s in the nest. So I will have some squabs for a gumbo soon. they are like eating wild doves. Really good dark meat.
I think I am going to fry some fish this weekend also. Make some quiet dogs and sweet potato fries. how many of you guys like to eat fried fish with syrup? Yeah, syrup! Me and my Dad are the only two I have ever seen do that. Don’t knock it till you have tried it.
