I am happy that no one that I can see from looking at the front page here is taking about Charlie Kirk. We have Facebook and Youtube for that. Podcasts too. And you know me, I’m Canadian and I’m boycotting all American news anyway unless it relates directly to Canada.
So do whatever you want. Canadians know that we are bordering on lunacy. We just don’t want to be sitting so close to the fire.

Someone recently was asking on a YouTube video whether or not he should cancel Facebook. I told my story - definitely, I said. Cancel Facebook. Start a YouTube channel and connect with only people who connect with you. That’s good advice. But maybe not the best advice for everyone. He had clubs and his neighbourhood group and things like that in his feed. He was in the UK as well. Maybe his Facebook experience is completely different than mine.
And therein is the point of this short blog. We all have different views. We have different circumstances and different lifetime experiences. Shouting at people online is in the same ballpark as shooting people in real life. It gets us nowhere.
There is an expression I like, “How you do anything is how you do everything.” The little things do matter.
