So I went to see Ode to Kubrick … Sorry Interstellar Last night.

Sure, the “love monologues” eye rolling, and they play it a bit loose with the demonstration of how long is past, particularly just before the second gargantua scene and hey the entire narrative and MESSAGE is cheesy but…

This is one of the best cinema experiences I’ve had in years.

The cinematography of it all, the models, the special effects from he black hole (Which they actually wrote scientific papers about to get accurate) the subtle hints at fascist states, technophobia and the possible changes in society to come, fantastically scripted and acted from start to end and you know what, really funny too, I wasn’t expecting that but it’s full of the kind of humour you get in real life which brings me to the best character by far. TARS. He is a hero. Sure it made no sense how he knew what he did during the tesseract scene but shhh, he’s amazing.

It is worth spending the money, go see.
