dodged it for 5 years but it finally got me.

Jessica told me she was feeling kind of sick and I always catch what she has so later that day I started feeling that weird tickle in my throat and I was like “yep there it is”

Next day I wake up feeling pretty awful so Jessica has me take a covid test and it was positive. Then she takes one and it’s also positive. Yay.

First day was icky but I was fine, but the second day was awful. Horrible headache, fever of 102F, can barely get out of bed. Third day, the headache went away but the nausea and congestion kicked in full force.

Fourth day was a little better but still pretty bad, and then yesterday was day 5 and it was better. Today I’m about 75% back to normal. Still tired and randomly sweaty (I feel like I have menopause or something), but we’re getting there. My tinnitus is pretty bad again unfortunately due to the congestion but I know it’s temporary so the anxiety is easier to deal with.
