Rainy Days and Drinking Cups in scarlet_dragon

Today’s mood has been ok. It’s been a generally rainy and overcast day, and I kind of love those kinds of days. I’m enjoying the drop in the super hot temps, even though I know by next week the temp will go up again.
School is starting again next week. I’m ready for it. Maybe not the early, early mornings but I think my kid needs the school time again. Can’t believe we will only have two more first days of school before he’s done. I’m not ready to sit and process that feeling.
I had listed a new Owala drinking cup that my sister had bought for me back in April. It’s cute but I have another Owala cup that I got and it gets moldy super quick. I’m honestly kind of over the 10000 drinking cups trend. I got into the Starbucks tumblers and have about 20 of those still then I went towards Stanley’s and have a few of those. And yea, you get the point.
I’ll get this FOMO real bad about something and then have to have it. Once I have it, the novelty lasts about a day and then it’s done. Forever to sit on my shelves or in storage or a bag somewhere.
I’m trying to be better about that. Anyways, this cup wasn’t going to be used so I listed it on Mercari and it sold within a day. So I took it to the UPS store after just being there yesterday taking back Old Navy items. Then of course I get called that my new glasses are in and ready for pickup which is next door to the UPS store. But I refuse to make another trip over there today so it’ll wait for tomorrow.
That’s about it in my ever so exciting life.
