So todays game kind of reminds me of the old RTS age of empires, Imperium (Classics, Legends and Horizons) I have not played the star trek retheme captains chair:
Whats cool about this series is there are I want to say 33 civilizations, most are from history but there are a couple that are fantastical (Arthurians, Utopians, Atlantiens, Cultists and Martians) And the real cool thing is they all play Drastically different. For example the greeks focus more on the second half of the game (when they are in a "Empire") in comparison to say the Iniuit who have to manage seasons, and I believe the Taino who move between islands. Its really cool how different every faction plays. You're basically getting points by buying cards, getting territory then getting glory by discarding those territory to get super good purple cards. But there is a carp ton going on in this game but its really good its also a bit on the complex side with everything thats going on. High barrier to learn but its really good when you break that barrier. Heck I haven't even played all the factions. lol oh well. Thats todays game.
