So the story of this game is kind of funny, I got this as a christmas gift because I jokingly said I wanted it, but the people who gave it to me worked at the comic book  store got it on a discount.. But their true motives was for me to teach the game to them, which was fine.

Its called Free Radicals.

Basically this game is 10 smaller games trying to influence the main game and get points in radically (no pun intended) different ways. Its a five player game, each color has 2 games, Red has the farmers (Dominos) and the executives (Mancala) Blue has the Merchants (Pick up and deliver) and the entertainers (hand management) yellow has the Artists (multi use cards) and the underground (deckbuilding) Green has the hoteliers (polyomino placement) and Merchants (Worker movement) and Purple has the Adventurers (Adventure game) and the Paladins (action programming)

What makes the game so great is how all these mini games play so differently and yet interact with the main game so well. All but one of the factions I like (I’m not a fan of the Artists) But its so much fun and its super unique. I wish the game sold better I would love to see expansions (The designer on BGG said he  had some ideas but i’m not holding out) but there is still a carp ton of variability with the ten factions. This game is better at 4 or 5 because of how the main card play works. But this game is probably cheap and easy to find, and its great, I highly recommend finding it.

That is all for today.
