Hello Everyone,

I’ve not written a ‘diary’ in what I can only consider to be ‘forever’ and I thought I’d start. I remember finding this website, and I love the community of it and the ability to read about other people’s lives. It’s strangely humbling.

Today I had a practice Interview with a Coach (who works for a program called Restart), which I was put onto by my Job Coach at the Job Centre. It was with May that I have met before she runs a Job Club, which is more useful than it sounds, and she even volunteered to edit and update my CV (Resumé) on her own time after I attended one of Job Club sessions, all I had to do was email it to her which was nice and it worked because since then I’ve had two interviews (unsuccessful, but it’s better than before).

My ‘practice Interview’ was just a job interview, but May, after I gave my answers, gave constructive criticism on where I can improve and she said it was mostly my volume and Confidence. I needed to speak a little louder and work on my confidence. She even suggested I do this ‘Confidence E-course’.

Anyway, afterwards I mooched around the shops in Stretford Mall, even went into ALDI and bought some treats for Merlin (our dog) because it’s his birthday on the 12th. I got the bus to Sale, where I went into an M&S, where I bought myself a Chicken and Bacon Cesar wrap, Mexican-style Tortilla chips, a Fruit cup of Cantaloupe melon and a Vitamin Drink.

I then waited for the bus for like 15-20 minutes, but traffic started to build up and block the stop, so I decided to walk home, thinking that was totally quicker, which it wasn’t…

in the end I did 5,257 steps and in total 8,266.

I didn’t feel like I got the level of sympathy/empathy I wanted from my parents when I came home hot, tired, and hungry (because I hadn’t eaten at all that day, I was saving lunch I’d bought for when I got home) but maybe that’s because my parents were hot, tired in pain… as my mother had an ankle injury from walking the dog and my dad was off-work with a back injury he got during work as a postman.

But still, I wanted something that was being dismissed, and for anyone who doesn’t realise how far I walked home, it was 1.5 Miles in 20°C (68°F).

Anyway that’s all for now.
