Out of Europe (Germany): Israel-Iran War via DW. Germans had nearly no army or defense whatsoever since the world wars. But possibly the quickest to raise their defense spending in Europe within recent years. They have been much more a warhawk since 2022 but with some proximity to Ukraine, they have their necks out in global conflict.
From the mideast: Israel-Iran conflict via Al Jazeera English. It’s so incredibly important to read this for some perspective outside US-Britian-Europe et al (mostly white, global political hegemony). AJ English written with an audience like us in mind, but they skip (less, they will want us to read, after all) minimizing casualties of innocents and soldiers.
