Hot yesterday. Summer came in like a lion. Hot again today and I suppose tomorrow. So says the forecast. Heatwave. Yea!
We turned on the air conditioner for the first time last night. Funny how quickly the weather changes. I arrived back from Taiwan exactly 2 months ago. Then, winter was still strong.
I am so affected by the weather, more than anyone I know. It’s because I like to be outside, sitting around with a book, walking around with a camera, or hanging around, watching the wildlife.
And it cannot get too hot for me. Yesterday we went for a hike. We saw no one on the trails. I sweat through my golf shirt. Canadians bitch about the weather all winter and then when we get a few days over 30C they stay indoors with the air conditioning on full blast. Weak.
