I can’t help thinking that this would be so much better if I was in Taiwan and that thought is not fair to my Canadian life. I mean the weather has not been very nice - two days of rain, but otherwise it is a pretty sweet life. Big comfortable house. Big comfortable truck. The price of gas is down. Drip coffee maker. Dishwasher. A huge fridge full of food from Costco. I went to bed last night shortly after 9pm and woke up after sleeping straight through shortly after 8am. It is a sweet life.

Yesterday I made some videos, sketched some pictures, painted them once they were dry, then did sgraffito on 9 pots, read a really good novel and watched a bunch of podcast style YouTube videos all the while. I had two beers and a small dish of mixed nuts (unsalted from Costco.) I had toast with peanut butter and jam in the morning and a big meal at about 3pm. What I’m saying is healthy lifestyle.

The problem is I prefer my Taiwan lifestyle. I spent a lot more time outdoors walking around in Taiwan. The scenery is much more scenic. Exotic. I read the signs and take photos of the rust and vegetables and the ships and the animals. Well, I suppose in another 5 months I will be returning to Taiwan. There is better but here is pretty damn good. Nothing to complain about.
