I feel a bit unmotivated today. To do anything, really. I hope my depression isn’t coming back. I’ll have to keep an eye on it. I mean, I’m still going to do the things I have to do. Discipline, after all. One of the goals for this year.
My stomach’s been upset the last few days. Hope I think it might be getting better, though. I also have a hemorrhoid or anal fissure messing with me right now. I thought that was getting better, too, but there was blood again when I went #2 this afternoon. Ugh.
Randy just went to work. I think this is his last day in training. He says he hates the job because it’s boring. But he’s going to stick with it because.... you guessed it. Discipline.
So, while he’s at work I shall do my thing. Work on my copywriting, look up the cloud computing class Randy paid for around a year ago. If the link still works. I also might work on book #2 of the book series I’m writing based on my dogs.
We went to visit his mom in the hospital this morning. Her surgery went well, and she should be able to bear weight on her leg already.
My brain just feels like it’s in a bit of a fog today. I don’t know.
On a side note, why do kids play with their toys so violently?! My nieces are crazy, I swear. Not a day goes by without whining or crying from both of them at some point. And I’m reminded why I don’t have kids. I love them to death, don’t get me wrong. I just know my limits.
I went to lunch with Hanna and her family yesterday. Her son is graduating high school, and her daughter is graduating college. I’ve known them since before they were born! I feel old. Her son loves pizza, so we went to Mellow Mushroom. I’ve actually never had them before, but it was really good! Especially their Prankster pizza. I brought a couple slices home to Randy, and he loved it, too. It was good to see her. Can’t believe we’ve known each other so long! Since college! So around 20 something years! Crazy. We’re going to try to get together next week to spend some more time talking. And she sure can talk.
I need to meet up with Bridget, too. Maybe I’ll call her this weekend and set up a time.
I’m seeing my mom tomorrow. Looking forward to that.
I guess I’ll see about practicing my copywriting now. Until next time.
