Get a horse in Book Two

It was a crazy idea. But then, all ideas are crazy until they work.
Going to the moon. Crazy idea.
Electricity. Crazy idea.
Even automobiles were a crazy idea at one time. Early adopters when they broke down were ridiculed with shouts of “get a horse.”

So, making a 46-minute video turned out to be a bad idea. If only because it would not load. I guess there are upper limits to how long YouTubes video can be. Or maybe it’s just that my internet provider sucks. It does. Anyway. It was a bad idea. Or maybe a not a bad idea but poorly executed.

I’m going to stick to shorter videos. Eight to ten minutes. Even if I do two or three in a day. Do I really have that much to say?

And really. The original thought when I started the channel two months ago was ‘consistency.’ Youtube viewers want consistency. When then sit down with their peanut butter on apple slices, or their preferred meat of choice between their preferred type of bread, they want just a little bit of comfort, a little bit of recognition. They want what they want. They want what you want. They want micro-philosophy, and musing and low-stake adventures. They want unfiltered realness of minimalist vlogging.

Well maybe they don’t really want that. But that’s what they are getting. I’m my hobby. I put a lot more thought into it than it might appear.

As an aside: reshoring American manufacturing. Crazy idea.
