I sold a bunch of stuff recently on ebay and I’ve never had a negative experience, but someone recently started a return and had a really mean message.
It was a drone controller and they were claiming it wasn’t charging. They basically were calling me a scammer and used a bunch of curse words and were demanding their money back.
So before accepting the return, I sent a message and said “hey I used that controller like twice total and tested it fully before listing it. Have you checked a new cable or charger to see if that helps?”
Within 20 minutes, the return was cancelled and they didn’t say anything else hahaha. Clearly he tried a new charger and realized it was fine.
What a dumbass. Instead of doing any troubleshooting on his own, he just freaks out instantly and flames me and tries to return a perfectly good controller. And then doesn’t even apologize for the confusion.
