3 Things about being back in Canada in Book Two

I’m back in Canada, and honestly, I’m sleeping better here than I did in Taiwan.
Weird, right?
In Taiwan, I was exercising like crazy — knocking myself out every day — but somehow, Canada’s got me sleeping like a log. Maybe I’m just in recovery mode. I’m over my jet lag but still have the lingerings of a cold.
Laundry rhythm’s different too. Every 10 days in Canada. Every 5 in Taiwan. That has more to do with the size of the laundry machine than anything else. It’s like Parkinson’s Law but for space instead of being for time. Not ‘work expands to fill time’, but laundry expands to fill the machine.
And
books? Big shift. In Canada, I’m reading a book a week.
I’ve actually finished two books already and started two more.
In Taiwan? One book the whole time.
No clue why.
Actually, this whole list is a bit of a mystery.
