Back again in Book Two

Q: What’s a very Canadian thing to do on your first full day back in Canada?
A: Go to Costco!

So I went and got all my favourite things, spent a ton of money on meat mostly.
It is weird and not wonderful with the temperature at 5C when I was out. Not exactly the best weather for sitting around, walking around, but so much better than a month ago, so they tell me. An ice storm.

And I called my mom and talked to my sister. They were together. On their way back from the doctor’s. The Costco pizza was good. I sprinkled extra tex/mex cheese on it. I baked it for 12 minutes at 425F and then left it in the over for a full five minutes after I turned the heat off. It is so nice to ‘cook’ again. And pizza I only had once in the last six months - that was Costco Pizza with Joe at the Kaohsiung store (Shi Jya.)

Honestly. I’m bored already but it is nice to be back too.
