Phew! I finally got through all my notes for the Musculoskeletal exam. I got through like a lecture and a half yesterday and the remaining (million) lectures this afternoon/evening. The material is just so dense and hard to get through. So is bone, so it makes sense. Badum-ching! I'll be here all night!
Speaking of bones, we've been having bone labs in Radiology. My vet school friends and I often use nouns as verbs because it reflects how sleepy and dumb we feel. And we're ridiculous. Anyway, Renee was looking at a radiograph and exclaimed "Oh my God, guys! I forgot how to bone!" Lauren and I immediately burst out laughing and it took Renee a moment to figure out why. Then we laughed until we had tears rolling down our faces. Good times. We definitely have the most fun in that lab :)
For one of our GI Radiology labs, we kept seeing ducks in various parts of the digestive tract
Like in this one:

Patient exhibited signs of vomiting and anorexia. Of course she did! She had a fucking duck in her stomach!
Stanley and Nesmith were good study buddies today.

Stanley disapproves of me studying so much. Nesmith doesn't care because he is next to me and gets to sniff my butt.
Om nom nom chew thingy

He has eye goobers and needs his nails clipped. School makes me a terribly dog mother.
Nesmith is extra pretty in this one:

Shhh, don't tell anyone, but he's my favorite (even if Stanley is my baby). I love all of my critters but Nesmith is so bizarre and quirky. If we could afford it, we'd probably clone him. I took some fun videos of him that I'll try to figure out how to get off my phone and post here for a day when I don't have time to do an actual entry :) Look at those whiskers! And those EARS! Silly boy.
Time to relax! I've put in enough work for the day, I think!
