Oh gracious god above

How your laugh alights my day

Low I fall like a wounded dove

While you laugh laugh laugh away

I stack a cairn one summer come

Careful, clean, and full of hope

It tumbles down to a valley hum

Scattered whither down the slope

My tears could fall and cast a sea

Or float about and turn to cloud

I should prostrĂ¡te myself so as to plea

And preach your great to large a crowd

I seek forgiveness, sins I tread

And yet stayst there a-laugh instead

A mighty stir that shakes my world

Is your hearty laugh at my life unfurled
