.... in the last years of the 19th century, that human affairs were being watched and studied across the timeless worlds of space. And slowly, but surely, they drew their plans against us.

Last night I was in Cardiff to see the arena tour of Jeff Wayne’s musical version of The War Of The Worlds - and it was bloody brilliant!! Had to leave Noelle and Summer with my parents as I don’t think they would have liked it (they are a bit young for something like that).

I’m glad we went across mid-afternoon as the traffic on the M4 heading across the bridge and into Wales was a right pain - very busy and crawling along at several points. It’s always the plan - set off early, find somewhere to have some food, then go and relax and enjoy the show!

A couple of big names were involved - Liam Neeson had done the recordings for the narrator of the story, and Max George from the Wanted played the Parson very well. Well worth the night out!
