And Here We Are in Trying to stay one step ahead

In Arizona. Husband is gone golfing and I am enjoying just lounging. Nobody wants anything no animals to take care of and no responsibilities. I’m sure I would get tired of this eventually
but for now it is nice.
Christmas was just a few weeks ago but now it seems like it was months ago. We had a good Christmas and everyone enjoyed themselves. New Years Eve was just a few friends over and on New Years day I took down the tree and put all the decorations away. Oldest grandson flew back to Saskatchewan on the 4th and we left on the 5th. We are staying in the same place we stayed in last year but in a bigger suite. Last year it was a single room and this year it is more like 2 rooms. It is plenty big enough for 2 of us and after being married 46 years we have no problem getting along.
Tonight we’re going to the VFW for a fish fry and tomorrow night to watch an Elvis impersonator. I won’t be able to make out what he is saying but I can still hear the music. Hopefully when I get the implant later this year that will help me be able to enjoy things more.
