I voted today. Huzzah.
Had another good day on the Acupuncture rotation. My rotation mate was still feeling ill and actually had to leave during the first appointment because she was so nauseated. She did come back for our other 2 appointments though. On top of that, Dr. C has a cold. Making me wonder when I’ll get something and which of their illnesses it will be! Also meant my workload was a bit higher, which I honestly don’t mind. It’s good experience for me and I’m learning. Makes Dr. C and my rotation mate think I’m awesome for doing everything with a smile on my face, so that’s nice too :)
So, I had one noter express interest in my cases, wanting to know more about them. I wish I could share more info with all of you. It is fascinating and writing about stuff helps me learn it better. However, much like with human medicine, veterinary medicine has patient confidentiality rules. I don’t think they’re as stringent as the human laws, but I don’t want to screw up so I’m erring on the side of being overly cautious.
Must go shower and have dinner. I want to get to bed but should probably review rotation mate’s cases for tomorrow so I know what’s going on and as a just in case measure if she has illness issues again. I’ve already gotten my cases ready to go, so yay for having some stuff done!
