It's about time in Trying to stay one step ahead

I wrote another entry. My nose has healed up pretty good so the next thing will be the cochlear implant. Probably in the spring as we will be going down to Arizona in January for 3 months. This will be the last time we go for that length of time as we had to buy extra insurance as ours through my husbands is only good out of the country for 30 days. The fact that our Canadian dollar is so low right now is also not helping. We can thank Trump for that as he is threatening about putting tariffs on imports and exports.
Closer to home the Christmas decorations and tree are up and I spent the afternoon at the mall with my daughter while my granddaughter was working in Torrid. I only have a few more things to get so next week will be mainly baking and wrapping. Just for once I want to be done before Christmas Eve. The adults in the family drew names this year so that has helped a lot as it cuts down on the numbers of people to buy for.
Life here is going on as normal nothing too exciting. The grandkids are looking forward to the Christmas break and my eldest grandson will be coming home from university for a couple of weeks. The animals are thriving and Tugboat just dropped a rock on my lap which signifies that he wants a treat I’m well trained because if I don’t give him one he’s liable to swallow it.
