On Friday we started trick-or-treating around five-thirty. Kayla went as a mermaid, Timmy was Harry Potter, and Aaron was Batman. It was chilly with a slight drizzle toward the end. Not the best weather, but not terribly cold either. A lot of houses had their lights on and the kids got lots of candy and stickers. Their plastic pumpkin holders couldn’t have held anymore. We saw different costumes such as Anakin Skywalker, a bumblebee, a butterfly, a cowboy, and several Disney princesses. Toward the end it was starting to get dark and the kids were getting a little nervous with all the Halloween decorations. I guess Halloween is always a scary holiday.

We went back home and handed out treats. We passed out mini 3 Musketeers bars. The kids really enjoy handing out candy. During this time we had some pizza and salad for dinner. We also watched some Halloween movies. I like the Halloween series movie with the cheesy song for the silver shamrock.

After the kids get done with school today we are going to vote. Everyone in the U.S., remember to vote today!
