On October 31st, I turned 28 years old. I’ve no idea how that happened so fast. Didn’t I just celebrate my 21st birthday? I had a lovely birthday, though, that lasted two days. On Thursday, my co-workers made my day so special by taking me out to lunch at El Torito and then we all had cake after our students were gone. Gayleen, who some of us call Mama Bear, made me a chocolate cake. It was so sweet of her and of course it tasted delicious. I even got a card that was signed by all my co-workers. I felt so special. Oh, and Jessica decorated my desk! Thursday night, the three of us went to my parents’ for my birthday dinner. My mom made a great dinner and it wasn’t as tortuous as I thought it’d be. I got a $50 Ross gift card from Dale’s mom and a $25 Olive Garden gift card from my parents. Both places I love!

On my actual birthday, there was an in-service at work. A lot of people dressed up in costume, but I wore a shirt that had two body skeleton’s (one of mine and one for the baby) along with some jeans. It produced lots of laughs!

Check out this link to see what the shirt looked like: http://www.amazon.com/Skeleton-Womens-Maternity-Costume-T-Shirt/dp/B00FN67MDE/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1414964815&sr=8-4&keywords=maternity+skeleton+shirt

The in-service was good and for lunch, they served us pizza. Yum! My boss was dressed up as a witch with face make-up and all (didn’t even recognize her!). She came over to me right away to give me a hug and say Happy Birthday! She also gave me a birthday gift. It was some fuzzy socks (which someone told her I LOVE), a ceramic mug, and an insulated lunch bag. I loved all of it and it was so thoughtful of her!

We got out at 2:00 so I went to the Mall in the town I work in to look for a dress for my baby shower (it is next Saturday), but unfortunately I walked away empty handed. I did find an outfit and a Minnie Mouse robe for my girl, though. She shrieked with excitement when I gave her the robe. Seeing her happy is the best feeling in the world.

We dressed Carrie up as Dorothy and she looked so adorable. She absolutely loved trick or treating this year as a 3 year old! We made it up and down the street! She got a good amount of candy that I have been enjoying. he he

After trick or treating, I got to open my birthday present from my husband. I was so shocked to discover that he got me a Macbook Air laptop!!!! I was soooo excited because I was in need of a new laptop since my old one was slow and outdated. I have the best hubby ever! The main purpose will be to organize my pictures and actually be able to see them clearly!

We are getting anxious to meet our new baby girl! I will be 27 weeks pregnant tomorrow! Can’t believe I will be in my 3rd trimester in just one more week.

Next Saturday, my friends Brittany and Bre, are throwing me a baby sprinkle. I am getting so excited and are so humbled that they would such a nice thing for me. I invited about 15 friends and hoping to have at least 10 there. Our families stress me out so much and when we are with them, I feel tense and uncomfortable so this is going to be lovely. I can’t express how much I am looking forward to celebrating the life that is growing inside of me with people who genuinely care about me and want to see me happy. The theme is going to be pink and gray chevron with elephants! I was hoping to find a pink chevron dress, but could only find red and tan. It will still be cute, though. I am excited to see what my friends have planned!
