I got jammed up on this one because I really never wanted to actually go through it, so here is the abridged version of what is ALMOST ALWAYS in our fridge.
- A billion kinds of hot sauce. Some like it hot.
-ketchup, mustard, kraut, pickles, soy sauce (ie basic condiments)
-Emerald Valley Hot Salsa
-Eggs
-Leftovers for my lunch
-Tillamook cheese (usually sharp cheddar)
-Lettuce and some type of salad veggie
-beer
-milk: whole or 2% for my coffee and soy/coconut/almond for Ben’s cereal
About 3/4 of the stuff in our fridge is organic/natural/blah blah blah, not because we are snobs, but because we actually believe it is not awesome to consume chemicals and are willing to spend too much on groceries… =/

I try to buy organic when I can, but sometimes I can't justify it. I used to buy organic chicken exclusively, but at $7 a pound, I can no longer justify it, so I just buy the $3 a pound "regular" chicken. There are some things I refuse to buy non-organic; like ketchup (because it doesn't have high fructose corn syrup and is no more expensive) and dill pickles. (Did you know, that pickles like Vlassic have a crap ton of yellow dye in them to make them that neon color? Who needs that?) The pickles ARE that much more expensive (I think they are $5 a jar), but they are tasty, a good little snack for basically no calories, and Hubs likes them.
