so yeah…let’s back up
this past weekend was relatively quiet. friday night and saturday were pretty uneventful. i don’t remember what i did friday night. so that means i did nothing. saturday was similar until i began playing the new sherlock holmes game. sometimes i feel like i’m a cheater because i ship certain puzzles, but really, i just don’t want to spend that much time on them.
sunday there was a plan with a friend, L, to go get shrimp at the boiling crab. strange to note that most people don’t actually get crab there. ended up being her family and it was tasty, though i ate too much; nothing new there. i got 2 pounds of shrimp. one pound of xxx garlic and one pound of medium garlic. the xxx is quite spicy. not so bad except for the whole mess factor where you need about 5 napkins to wipe your hands, so they can be almost clean.
then we went to her sister’s place, where i promptly took a nap. i had expected just lunch, but apparently i was kidnapped. once her sister’s kid pooped his pants, we were out of there. got ice cream on the way home. good thing no one got chocolate.
and when i got home i took a nap. this was about 5. set my alarm on my phone for 7 and got to sleep about 6. so this meant that i turned my phone up. lo and behold, guess who calls. she called about something she could have texted about so it is interesting. she was asking about retrieving a deleted photo from her phone. we spoke for about half an hr as she was driving to target to buy something or other. i don’t remember exactly. she’s been texting a lot more recently and apparently i’m good to her. guess i can’t be an ass. probably too nice. :/
today at work she left early to go shopping for a new couch for her apartment. she moved into her own apartment (with the kids) over the weekend. at lunch with one our bosses and a colleague, he brought her up. as in she has missed a lot of work and basically saying they would have to talk and he asked her immediate supervisors to talk to her already but they haven’t.
