Hi all! I’ve been so busy that I just haven’t found the time to write lately. Right now the boys are napping and I just put on some cute Halloween Jamberry nails! Check them out:

The business is going very well for me! I am holding 2 parties on Facebook right now and I have 3 next month plus I could ask people if I want more which I will in due time. Here’s my catalogue link if you’re interested in ordering: www.sarahgartley.jamberrynails.net. I am also in the midst of hosting a younique party for a friend. Younique is the company that sells the 3D fiber optic mascara that gives you lashes so long they can look like false eyelashes if you want them too. Lots of my family and friends are buying them lately and raving about how much they love them. I am getting the mascara and a lip gloss myself once the party ends. If you want to order or look at the catalogue the party is open until Halloween and the link is here: https://www.youniqueproducts.com/MichaMacDonald/party/742426/view

Anyways, enough about business. I took the van in for a simple oil change this week at Midas and they told me it needed $3200 worth of repairs! I almost died when I heard that. Omg! Talk about panic when you know you need your vehicle but you don’t have that much money in your bank account. We ended up getting a mechanic friend of a friend to look at it and not everything needed to be done and he offered to do it all for $830. Then today, I got even better news and found out that a warranty package we bought with the van covers some of it! Nice! So in the end between Midas doing some of it through the warranty and the mechanic friend doing the rest, it will cost us $650. That still sucks but I am so grateful we have so much less to pay because now we can afford to get it done without scrambling for a loan or using credit cards. Whew! The repairs are for full brakes, tie rods, ball joints, struts, sway bar, wheel alignment and that sort of thing by the way. Can’t wait til it’s all done so I will feel like it’s a completely safe vehicle again.

The kids are doing well.....continuing to grow and learn and all that stuff lol. We are trying to get out for walks and stuff often since the weather is still mostly warm but sometimes I just don’t have the energy. We still have fun though :) Miles is at such a cute stage right now where he does silly things like chase Cody around trying to give him sloppy kisses on the mouth or he’ll hold an entire box of crackers and feed people one by one lol.

We had a wonderful last visit with my parents last weekend before they go to Florida until mid December. We all adored watching Miles walking around their house and exploring. He’s been walking for a couple of weeks now but I still find it really cute to watch cuz he’s just so small and thrilled when he’s walking around and exploring. He can be incredibly sweet, smiling at everyone and playing silly games. Unfortunately, even though he got over his cold a week or so ago, lately he’s tired early (he puts his head down a lot) and he’ll be really whiny and clingy at times. Not sure what that’s about. Someone suggested a growth spurt to me. Not sure?

Honestly there’s not enough hours in the day these days to get everything I need to get done completed. The house is a wreck right now but I’ll clean it in the morning. I don’t think I’m going to be up very long tonight as I just put Cody to bed and I’m tired already (8:30pm lol). Tomorrow is going to be AWESOME though!! One of my brothers is coming to babysit for most of the day (from like 1pm-midnight)!! Mike and I are going to a theme park, Canada’s Wonderland and they also have a Halloween thing at night that we’ll go to as well. We haven’t been to it in years but I really love it so I can’t wait to go. I love spooky stuff even though it scares the crap out of me lol. The costumes of the employees are just incredibly well done and they have scary music playing and fog and it’s just so fun! One of these days when the kids are older I’m going to have regular Halloween parties just for fun. I’ve always wanted to have one! Anyways, I’m off to watch a movie and probably eat some chocolate. I’ve got a lot of prosebox catching up to do but I’ll get there soon. I love reading about all of your lives!! It’s such a comfort thing like cozying up with an old favorite book <3
