Past Week in Trying to stay one step ahead

Life is going to change for me in the next year hopefully for the better. I had to see the audiologist again and my hearing has deteriorated to 30 percent. I am going to have the cochlear implant after we go through all the preliminary testing and interviews. I’m a little frightened bur hopefully I can participate in life more fully again as I know I have been isolating myself.
I also am going to have the top of my nose operated on in the next couple of weeks. They have found a slow moving cancer on it which I predicted years ago because it gets sunburned every summer since I was about 4.
