Finding a second job in Before, Now, and maybe even the Future

I have a current job however it does not pay well at all for me right now, I am in the works of finding a second job but for all the jobs I have been applying for and getting interviews for, I do not seem to get the job. I am even thinking about calling my university and asking about how to get a job on campus even if it is summer right now. I really need a second job.
