So work was annoying today. I had a female co-worker who I don’t really like on duty with me to supervise the kids. She has been put in my area on a full time basis. So that’s going to make things hard work! I wish the management would stop messing things around when there is no need to.
I need to work on my ability to make small talk. That is something that has become increasingly evident over the past few days at the wedding and at work today. I need to think of some decent small talk conversations. I have brought a book to give some tips on how to overcome being too shy.
I have been watching a Australian drama call The Code on Iplayer. Its brilliant and worth checking out. It makes a change from watching all the similar US dramas.
I have been making rough plans for week in Exeter when I do my driver training. I am strongly considering using the train to commute every day. That should work out cheaper than staying in a hotel (especially as I have some rail vouchers) whilst giving me a rest from driving between lessons.
I am currently investigating options for getting my house lagged; I believe that British Gas are offering grants to complete the job. A lagged house should help to reduce my energy bills this winter and leave more money to have fun with.
