Changes in Wind Patterns in Elephant Architecture

I have just put my 2 weeks or the equivalent in at the Hibachi Joint. The Pervert is back and basically stalking the place like a wild animal. I’m no prude and have worked with plenty of guys who frequent strip clubs but that is just it. They go to a place where being a pervert is socially acceptable. This one tries to make work a strip club environment and that brings the whole situation to different levels of working conditions.

My boss is Japanese and they (or she) tend[s] to see vices as something one should profit from if life sends it your way. His vices are weighing him down like carrying an anvil thus he is doomed to be a worker rather than a threat to position. I understand her position but I’m the one bunking next to him at work. And I prefer better company and I do have the means to make those choices for myself.

She texted me for help and told me he had another job and would only be working one shift a week. And then his shifts were cut at his other job and he came crawling back to us. What I know from experience is that this type tends to Target people like me. My experience raises the value of the restaurant (my resume in Hospitality, Food & Bev is remarkable. I basically have a Brand Name in the business). He is what I have come to recognize as a Vulture or buzzard type. They wait and watch for the lion to make the kill and feed off the remains, however more parasitic than that. That is more of the storybook version. The Environmental version is that he is seeking a Host/Parasite relationship. I/we put in the work and he leeches off of it. I began recognizing this personality type back in college for college parties. I would bring women to the parties and there were the parasite “friends” who fed off our energy. They couldn’t bring the woman themselves because women have terrific gut instincts about these things. Back then, I was much more optimistic about personalities.

I left. He left. I came back. He came back. The place only comes alive with the energy I bring and so all I have to do is wait for his bank account to lead him elsewhere. My boss is smart, but she gets cloudy about certain decisions like these.
