cold start to the week in Hi This is Kat!

Our house isa two story home each floor has its own heating and air unit… two days ago when we got home from Kentucky to our house being COLD! The main floor furnace was not producing any heat at all. the temp was 64˚ The morning when we woke (yesterday) the whole house was cold because the 2nd story heater was also not working well.... ERRRRRR and that is with the fireplace on. We put a pace heater in the den and closed the pocket doors and it was nice and warm.
He put both units on heat strip to warm the house and the upstairs unit which is fairly new just needed a part labor was 700 dollars yesterday… so today he came out to price a new unit for the ground floor… 14,000 later we will have a new unit installed this Friday! ouch! BUT we did buy the top of the line they had. but still no ones wants to spend that much.... the old unit was 23 years old so it was well loved and beyond its life expectancy. This new unit should save us a bunch of money as it is so efficient. let’s hope so. Also probably a reason our last bill was around 600 for gas and electric!
trying hard to see the positive in this but it is probably not going to happen today just glad we have the money

See this is what my slum lord is suppose to do and she doesn't. And now you will save so much money and be a lot more comfortable. This is exactly what I want my slum lord to do. Enjoy your new toy and maybe let's name him "George"

It is almost never cold in our house for the most part. :)
