Haven’t written all week. Almost started several times, never actually managed it, no time.
I took the boy to the boy to the Lego show at the weekend. That was pretty good. They had a huge model of the Queen Mary. Apparently it was made from 250,000 Lego bricks. It always works out pretty expensive to go to the Lego show because you don’t only have to pay an entry price, you end up buying Lego products too. But it’s only once a year, and it’s fun.
Cow in a car tried to kill me on my bicycle this morning. She actually shouted at me because she had to give way and it was my right of way!
Trains were totally buggered on Monday because some rail worker clown sliced through a cable and brought down all the signals. Apparently they had to relay a mile of new cable to fix it. Imagine how I felt this evening then when arrived at the station to find this:
All trains east and west cancelled because a rail worker sliced through a cable. I stood on the platform for 90 minutes in the rain praying for a train. And when one eventually did come, it was foul. Thanks First Great Western.
