Are you the plane
That shapes the board
Part of a history
Smoothed and worn
Oh the windy weather
Dry spells, brushfire

Isn’t it strange, how truth can change?
I must endeavor to write more often. I occasionally go back through my OD diary (the humongous text file I downloaded the day before Dear Leader pulled the plug) and find myself surprised how well I can write on occasion - when I am writing a lot.
Writing a lot seems to be the key. Somewhat related to the monkeys/typewriters/infinite time and Shakespeare’s works.
I used to use my iTunes library to inspire me to write. Maybe I should go back to that plan. Unfortunately it is getting late and I must be cursory.
So. What do I have to write about.
-I am thinking about joining the local Crossfit gym. It is intimidating, but so was going to boot camp the first time.
-My buddy Gary, whose girlfriend manages Bootleggers is hard to get on the phone. The hottie there technically works for the girlfriend of one of my best friends. Can I get a name? No. Dude is always too busy. Come November when he gets his annual layoff notice, he’ll be calling wanting to go out for coffee. Can I get him on the phone now? No.
-Weather. Weather is always a good subject. October thunderstorms in Maine. Just about rattled me out of bed at 4am.
-Blood Moon. Not that we could see it this morning, and tonight the ghost moon sails among the clouds. When I get up to take a leak tonight I should keep walking, put on my shoes and go take a look.
-I’m listening to “Dr. Sleep” - the Stephen King book. I know Rose “The Hat” O’Hara is supposed to be the equivalent of Satan, but damn if I didn’t start sporting the first time she was described. I have no idea what is hot about a perfect bodied 6’ tall redhead wearing a top hat. But Mr. Wiggly does. Mr. Wiggly could get me to join the true knot if I had the shine. (That paragraph makes no sense to anyone who hasn’t at least started that book.)
-Tired of political advertisements. Every one directly contradicts the one before it. I should go get my ballot and vote already - except I am not sure about question 1 - the bear baiting question.
-The Ebola story bothers me. The CDC and NIH keep up the mantra about how it is impossible to catch Ebola. And the news seems to refute that. Doesn’t seem to be all that impossible to catch. Notice how none of the people with Ebola aren’t whisked into a major hospital in Manhattan? For something that is “virtually” impossible to catch how fast would it spread there?
-Tons of new TV shows on now that the fall season is in full swing. Still culling the herd. I’m iffy on “Forever” and “Scorpion” - although “Scorpion” has Katharine McPhee going for it. That girl gets better looking every time I see her.
